How many times since reaching that magic period in life called “Middle Age” have you looked in the mirror and longed for that waistline you had 20 years ago, RIGHT? If were possible to turn back the hands of time and get those six-pack abs you used to have!

Well truth be told, it not as easy as the TV commercials want you to believe it is. You can do all the crunches and sit-ups you want and still not get the results you are hoping for. There are plenty of fitness products that will offer you miracles in a box but cannot give you the perfect formula for the flat abs that you seek.

After gathering data from the so-called industry experts and sifting through the hype, I have discovered one consistent truth. If you want that spare tire gone you need to affect a whole life style change approach to the problem.

The formula goes something like this:

1) Cardio Vascular Exercise
2) Strength Training
3) A Low Calorie Diet
4) Consistently Applying All of These

We have to lose the body fat and get that Body Fat Ratio in Check.

Now don't be discouraged at this point and run for the Ice Cream and Cookies!

Below you will see an example of an easy to follow Low Calorie Diet that comes with one great product I love.

If you have a busy lifestyle and just “No time to exercise” this is a great way to go.

Also remember if you have friends or associates with the same common goal of shaping up their Abs or the whole body for that matter it is better to not go it alone. The comradery and even some healthy competition can make it fun for you all.

Make up your mind that this is the day I am going to work on getting rid of that pesky pooch, that potbelly, the “Thing that keeps me out of my bathing suit”. Deciding to effect change is indeed the first step. Once you begin the gradual change will make into one of those before and after stories.

Don't overdo it though; you didn't get that way overnight. Set reasonable goals to work out every other day for a few minutes as an example. Make some gradual changes to your diet as you go. You will see that in no time that person in the mirror makes you want to step back, take a second look and say“is that me?“
